Hi Edison Otters Families,

Just a reminder to register for Wednesday's home meet if you plan on attending. I will be closing registrations between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM today. Once registrations are closed, I will not be able to add any additional swimmers to the meet, so please make sure you sign up before then.

Wednesday's Meet Information:

• Location: Oakcrest Community Pool (our normal practice pool)
• Arrival Time: 5:00 PM
• Warm-Ups: 5:20 PM
• Meet Start: Approximately 6:00–6:15 PM

Please make every effort to stay until the end of the meet unless you have a family emergency or another commitment immediately afterward. At our last meet, we had several swimmers leave early, which forced us to scratch a couple of relays. Since that meet came down to just a few points, every relay and every point really matters.

If swimmers leave early without letting us know, it also takes away relay opportunities from other swimmers. Going forward, if a swimmer repeatedly leaves early, gives very last-minute notice, or doesn't notify us at all, we'll still make sure they receive their individual events, but we may choose not to place them on relays so that it doesn't affect the rest of the team.

Officials Reminder: We had a great turnout for the officials' Zoom class, but many parents have not yet completed the online certification test. At the moment, we only have three certified officials, and we really need more.

If you've already completed the certification, please send me confirmation. If you haven't finished the online test yet, please do so as soon as possible so we can continue to officiate our home meets successfully.
