Hi Parents,

I wanted to send out an important update regarding tomorrow morning's practice.

Due to the poor air quality and worsening smoke conditions, we have decided to cancel practice tomorrow morning.

The air quality today is already unhealthy, and the forecast shows conditions are expected to be significantly worse tomorrow. To err on the side of caution and ensure the health and safety of all of our swimmers, we feel canceling practice is the best decision.

The State of New Jersey and the National Weather Service are advising people to limit time outdoors and avoid strenuous outdoor activities because of the smoke and poor air quality. We want to be proactive and make sure our swimmers are not exposed to unnecessary health risks.

The good news is that the smoke is expected to clear by Saturday, so we are hopeful that practices and meets this weekend, as well as next week's schedule, will continue as planned.

Thank you all for your understanding and flexibility. Please stay safe, limit outdoor activity if possible, and take care.
